Education Background and Professional Training
In 1997, Mr. Wu studied intellectual property Law and foreign-related patent agency and litigation practice at a firm in Washington, D.C. and Georgetown University Law School.
In 1997, Mr. Wu studied in the patent department of E.I.DuPont de Nemours and Company.
From 1979 to 1983, Mr. WU studied in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Sichuan University, and obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Working Experience
Mr. Wu used to be the President of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd., which is the largest patent and trademark law firm in China. As of today, Mr. Wu has nearly 40 years of intellectual property practicing experience. He is also the only person who has been conferred the honorary title of China National Outstanding Patent Attorney by the Central Government, i.e., the State Council of China. Mr. Wu has vast experience in drafting and translating patent application documents, preparing responses to office actions, handling invalidation, IP-related administrative cases, and infringement lawsuits. The technical fields Mr. Wu can provide services, mainly including chemical engineering (petrochemical, coal chemical, daily chemical, fine chemical, pharmaceutical chemical, etc.), bioengineering, material engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, chemical machinery, medical devices, etc., especially good at making creation, application, protection and management strategies for customers at home and abroad in all aspects and stages. Mr. Wu has provided targeted strategic planning and specific case response plans for Sinopec, CRRC, TCL, Jiuzhou electric group, Tsinghua University, INVISTA, Toto, Honda, and many other well-known companies at various stages, as well as many small and medium-sized enterprises at home and abroad. What is more admirable is that Mr. Wu has been authorized by the Supreme People's court to independently appear in court throughout the country to handle patent administrative litigation cases, infringement litigation cases, and all related legal affairs on behalf of domestic and foreign customers. In addition, he is invited to deliver speeches for many large domestic and foreign enterprises, R & D groups, and important international intellectual property conferences every year. He is often invited by local government departments and industry organizations to conduct intellectual property protection training for local enterprises and institutions as well.
